I upgraded the suspension of my SV650S last weekend with the help of someone much more knowledgable than I. We put in Traxxion springs along with Racetech cartridge emulators in the front forks and a Racetech-valved Gixxer shock in the rear. That’s about as good as you can get in the front but a little ghetto in the rear. Nevertheless, it will be an improvement over the stock rear shock which, by all accounts, belongs in a mattress rather than on a sport bike.
