My parents left Monday after deciding that they were not going to buy a house/condo or rent an apartment in Austin. Instead they are going to get a storage space for their stuff and simply use my house as a really big PO Box.
The sunroom is finished and I will post pictures very soon. A tile guy came out and looked at the sun room and front foyer to give me an estimate. They estimated about $700 in materials and $1700 in labor! Mind you, this is about 320 sq ft and Home Depot lists $3/sq ft as its normal labor charge. That’s a red flag begging for a second bid.
