Well, I seem to be. After I had LASIK surgery 6-7 years ago, my vision was 20/20. Ever since, my eyes have slowly been degrading to where they are now 20/25 and 20/30. This isn’t terrible - I have no problem functioning day-to-day but it is highly annoying in presentations or seeing detail from across a room. So I got my prescription and went to order glasses from my local ridiculously overpriced eyewear vendor. They wanted to charge me $300 for a pair of prescription glasses and sunglasses. Since I don’t want the sunglasses, I don’t see why I should pay double. Online the big eyeglasses vendors are charging about 60% of that price but I’ve had nothing but problems so far. Every frame I’ve ordered has turned out to be “discontinued” and I’ve heard nothing about my order since placing it one week ago. If LensCrafters can make glasses in one hour, why do they take a week? I’ll update when I actually get them.
