Mutterings

I spent 4-5 hours working on the stereo install, rewiring everything as best as I could figure and in the end, could only get it to sound terrible. It obviously wasn’t grounded properly as there was audible hum and the pre-amp connections only partly worked (?!). In doing this, I cut all the factory wiring so it looks like I’m going to have to bring it to the local custom audio place and have them put in an aftermarket amp in order to rewire everything. Since I’m doing that, I might as well have them put in rear speakers too. Unfortunately this means this is going to be a lot more expensive than I had hoped.
