Life in the Slow Lane

Ruby on OSX

I cannot believe how difficult it is, 2 years after it was released, to install Ruby on Mac OSX. There is no simple installer, there are no binaries, they actually recommend you go through a 10 step process to install a compiler, download the latest sources, and compile and install everything. What is this, Linux circa 1994? It is shocking that no one has simplified this process. Even Windows is far simpler to get working!
