Plumbing Fun

November 8th, 2007 · No Comments

My kitchen faucet (the one I installed myself a few years ago) recently developed a weep. Rather than call a plumber and have them charge me to fix the leak or even more for a new faucet I decided to simply replace the dang thing myself. After 24 hours without water in my kitchen and the standard three trips to Lowes to get all the necessary parts, gels, tapes, et al it is complete. It was painless except for one leak that required some silicone gel on the coupling. Behold!
